Hi, I bought a replacement Master Cylinder and Slave kit. (Perfection Clutch PF9008) Everything on the transmission end was smooth, but when I go to route the master cylinder line, I have forgotten how it goes in.
I've fiddled with it for hours, and the old line doesn't seem to have the bends in it that the new one does. Does anyone offhand remember how in the world the line goes, how to route it?
Thank y'all for your advice and input!

Kind Regards,

I just winged it on my '90, at one point I had it rubbing on the frame and it nearly rubbed a hole in it so I replaced it. I think it's supposed to go into the clip on the firewall but I don't remember it being close enough...

When I did my '90 B2 the line went over the frame, like this:
