alright here is the question..is there a difference in the clusters (besides the obvious relocation of a few lights and words) between a 1995 cluster to a 1998+ cluster?

I have in my dash a 1998 Mazda B4000 cluster. I have a 1995 2.3L. My old dash was out of a 1996 Explorer (also having the 4.0L) and it had no issues..let me know guys!

well, seems like there is no difference
i tryied a 03 clsuter with tach in a 00 without tach and worked just fine, even the 03 si 2.3 and the 00 3.0, no problem at all, i think they are the same

Some people claim that the Check engine messes with the Tach (which I highly doubt)

Other people say that the Door Ajar turns on for the CE.

It has more to do with your dummy lights than with the gauges I believe.
