i have a 97 ranger 4.0 with a m50d-r1 trani. i got the floid to come throw the line but theres still a soft pedel. do i still need to bleed it more?? i cant figuer it out. i crack the bleeder valve and the floid runs out but i have not cluch yet, what the screw is rong???? can some one pless help me figer this out.:icon_confused:

Knowing how this started would be a plus. Typically when you get air in the RBV clutch system, it's gotten trapped in the master. Self bleeding never works. You can try traditional brake bleeding techniques first, or try running a bleed line UP to a reservoir (my preference is the existing clutch reservoir), then open the valve and leave it open while you cycle the piston repeatedly (making sure the reservoir stays full). Once you're satisfied that no more air is coming through, seal the valve and see if you've got pressure at the pedal. If not, you'll have to disconnect the master from the firewall and invert it as you repeat the bleeding procedure I just described.

its a long story on how it hapend. short vershin is i bout a half bilt rig and im trying to fix there mistacs and finish the rest.

Maybe if you typed in cohesive and complete sentences we might understand what you are talking about?
