actually, the valve cover on the 2.0 is pretty nice when cleaned up.... i have a pic somewhere of mine.

was thinking about pullin mine out and doin the same, but my engine and bay are so badly rusted I wonder if the frame will tear when I remove it!

I had to let the bolts in the back end for the rear bumper sit in bolt-unlocker for a few minutes, and attempt to remove them.
