cleaning bed liner

Anybody got any tips for cleaning bed liners?


I realize that my bed liner is 21 years old, but I want it to look nice!!


I really like the dark black look that I get when I put tire foam on it... but it makes it slick and slightly oily...


Any other suggestions? Soap and water doesn't give me a nice look.

Armorall that bitch. Recommend pulling it and cleaning under it 2 times a year

Scrub it with Westley's Bleach-White then put Back To Black on after it dries. The Back To Black will make it slippery for a while though.

Fair bang for the buck. not nearly as durable as the real sprayon. Recommend if your bed doesnt see heavy use

bleach white is a tire cleaner. it doesnt actually bleach it white. 303 Aerospace Protectant leaves a nice matte finish and also protects it from UV damage

it got the dirt out of it... but it's lacking the luster that i want it to have... i'd imagine it probably lost most of it through 21 years of sunlight and such...


but i put some tire spray on the front half of it, and even though it's slick... it looks amazing... nice and black... will do some side by side shot sometime because you can definitely see the difference.

Frankly I think that's like applying armor-all to the tire side of a mud flap.

IF I wanted my bed to look nice if I had a worn bedliner I'd take the drop-in
liner out and lean it against the side of the garage.

IT is supposed to get worn dull and nasty looking, because frankly that's it's job.

Do you own a cashmere doormat?

If you don't then you don't need a shiny bedliner either.

I have noticed during my exploits that spilled transmission fluid makes my spray in bedliner look nice and dark black, and really doesn't make it that slick.
