Got the locker installed yesterday. Took around 5 hours because the directions it comes with are beyond crap. The pictures are basically a black square. I couldn't figure out how to get the passenger side c-clip in. Finally found a write up on here. Then once back together the cross-pin wouldn't go all the way down. It would go all the way down until the pin was up against the other side of the carrier.

I didn't get to many pics because I was pissed I couldn't figure it out.

I does make a vague clunk when taking left turns.

Will get pics tomorrow.

I watched a few YouTube videos before I installed mine. Helped out a lot since the directions are crap.

The youtube vids I saw where crap. They would say how to install them, then skip over parts that I needed help with.

And heres the bad news. Checked the oil and found coolant mixed in. I knew it was coming since ive been loosing coolant for some time now. So I need a new motor or a new truck.

Ive been thinking for some time now about getting a ranger. So if anyone knows of someone selling one rust free let me know.

All the rust free rangers I keep finding are 2wd and like to start with a 4x4

I plan to swap everything from the b2 then parting out whats left until its basically a shell
REQUIRMENTS
97 and under with ttb(must be 4x4)
4.0 a must
Damn near rust free
Id like ext cab but both reg cab would be alright

That really sucks, you've spent a lot of time on it.
But I will keep a look out for you and let you know if I find anything.

Its actually not very clean as it may look.

Rust spots include

Driver seat floor, toe boards (both sides), hatch body mounts are horible, wheel well behind doors, structures that all connect there, rear seat feet boards.

Another option would be to get a brand new motor and put it in and keep the b2.

RockAuto: $1,917.90 W/ Shipping plus $600 or so for intake and everything it would take to get running.

With the engine out i could fix the toe boards and floor pan.

Im willing to go either way. I'd like to pass this bronco on once I get older.

What would you guys do?
