Chop Top

So Im stuck between chopping the top or keeping it. Should I and what is the best way/mods to go about this project. I want to make it look clean. I DO NOT HAVE ANY PAINT AND BODY KNOWLEDGE AT ALL, however I will attemp to do this myself with a lil help. Send me what you got or a thread to view.

I did mine years ago, I miss that truck...

Anyway, I had started chopping on a fiberglass short bed Ranger camper shell. The mock up was sweet, would've been awesome if I didn't scrap that project for my current Ranger. Took on too many tasks at once, top, sas, 5.0...

You know, I think I'm just going to do an internal cage. Maybe I was just getting bored with my b2 and wanted to change things up a lil. Thought about it real hard and it didnt take me long to realize I should leave the top on and let it be. Its probably and ideal later on down the road I can tackle. Better prepare myself and read up on diff ways. Who knows, I might just break out the saw in the a.m. and go at it. Looks legit if you do it right.

A buddy of mine had his chopped while we went on deployment, at the time i thought it would be alright but now that i've seen it done i'm not a big fan of it. there is no doubt that it can look pretty clean but you gotta do it right and make sure its exactly what you want. he's actually tryin to sell me the bronco and the only thing detering me from buyin it is that it has a chopped top with no way to enclose it. we may be stationed here in southern california but it does rain sometimes. lol guess what i'm gettin at is make damn sure that its exactly what you want and do some more research before you go divin into it.

Just so happens I'm stationed in San Diego. What does he want for the B2 and is he still selling it?

You Navy? I'm not sure, he's up on at Camp Roberts for our Live Fire. I'm still kinda on the fence about it but i can sure ask for you. heres a pic he had on his fb of the chopped top.

Id keep it intact, i dont like the looks of a chopped B2. Just get a ranger with a short bed or a fullsize.

Navy, the pic didnt show up. If i can get a steal on a B2 already chopped ill take it. The one I have now is in A+ shape. Thats why I was bent on chopping it.
