Brand loyalty is ignorant.

While I agree, the SBC has been stuffed into every vehicle on the planet a 1000 times. Put whatever engine brand you want in anything you want but the 350 is just so "meh", every time I see a nice street rod on TV and then find out it's a 350, I lose all interest, if you're gonna spend 50K restoring a car, get something cool like a 383(mopar), 440, 454, 396, ect..

Its all about whats cheap right when you get the ranger for $450 and sell the wheels and tires for $400 and have a scrap blazer lying around you do what any one would do you make one out of two. then things get out of control. I appreciate everyones helpfull suggestions but now I might go with a 6Lt gas or 6.6 duramax. I work at an Auto recyclers so I have conections for newer parts. NO 7.3
