Wife picked up a '94 4.0 Ranger when the model year started. We're up to 290,000 plus miles, with viturally no problems. I used to frequent fordranger.com a long time ago, but now am checking in here to help / receive tech support.

In case you're wondering about the username, I used to run a (dirt) circle track car powered by a 427 "side oiler" Ford. No, I've long given up racing but I do still have two complete engines in the garage. Someday, I'll build one 'down' to steet-able, and shoehorn one in a Mustang or some other vintage Ford car or truck.

We live about 90 minutes north of Washington DC, in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.
