Good afternoon, I'm looking for any advice or opinions.
My 2019 with 90500 miles had the P2457 code come up last month.
Took it to a reputable mechanic shop where they diagnosed it as the EGR Cooler.
They were able to get this part from Ford and replace it without any other issues and the cost wasnt too bad.
Now it has happened again. Same code.
This guy does warranty his work and the part has a warranty. Could this possibly be a defective part? Or is there another likely culprit?
I plan on taking it back to him Monday morning and dropping it off,

Appreciate any thoughts from you guys

Thanks

Dave

I would look at the DPFE (EGR Pressure Feedback Sensor). That is a common failure part and since there is an EGR code, it might be worth looking at.
