Check engine code PO402

Good afternoon,

I just had the check engine code read and it indicates EGR Flow excessive. Any one know where to start to narrow down the cause.

I would start by taking off the egr valve and removing the carbon buildup and cleaning it up with some carb cleaner as this could cause the valve to stick open...just make sure to use a new gasket when reinstalling it. Try this first and let us know...
