I can sometimes find the occasional OEM Ford/Motorcraft part on Rock Auto. But more often what I need isn't there. So who & where is your "Go To" location to get the better pricing than my local Ford dealer?

And I do realize shipping cost may negate savings :-(

Thank You in Advance!

Tasca is about the cheapest as far as a Ford site goes.

Thanks for the referral. Slightly cheaper that local dealer. But shipping would negate savings as I figured it was likely to do.
When my local dealer was still open, it was a crap shoot as to which was cheaper after shipping. On some parts they did better, others not so much.

If it doesn't show up on Rockauto and you know the Ford or Motorcraft part number, you can often find the part if you search by part number.

There are a lot of OEM discount sites like Tasca, but the shipping is unreasonable.

Right on the money, I was just going to suggest looking by part number.

A more general statement, wouldn’t all the official Ford dealerships have some kind of restrictions from the mothership on how much they’re allowed to discount OEM parts? I don’t know that for sure, but that’s how most franchise operations work.

And another thought, can you get yourself affiliated with some kind of service shop where you can get a business discount?

The best I can say is that it depends. On Tasca's part, if I understand their relationship correctly, they are located at a dealership but are not part of the dealership, but their own entity.

It also depends on how a dealership chooses to operate. Some actually try to be fair to the customer and still make money. Others will choose to milk every bit of profit they can, while they can in the parts department, service department, or on the sales floor, possibly all three. Of course, some of that is going to depend on the salesperson and the department managers as well, rather than the owner themselves.

MSRP isn't great enough to offer super huge of a discount without losing money.

However most dealers charge well over MSRP.

When I was with Stellantis they actually had a price matching program so we could sell things under our cost to match aftermarket pricing to like bodyshops and we would get reimbursed. Only certain things were eligible though.
