First off, I don't know jack about the lowered aftermarket, but do know a lot about all suspensions.

I'll soon be getting a 97 reg cab s/b 2.3 5spd 2wd to have as a DD.
And having such a big Ranger already I'm wanting to drop this one, to change things up a bit and, to aggravate the "redneck" family members.:icon_rofl:

Anyways, from what I've seen,
3" JDM beams
rear axle flip kit
and rear shocks

Is that really all I need? I was told my SAS would be simple like that and it seems every time I turn around, I'm buying more parts.

Thanks ahead of time:icon_thumby:

Yes its as simple as that. I ordered all of my stuff from Summit. The hardest part for me was getting the ball joints out of the old beams into the new beams.

I got all my stuff from Illusive Design and Fabrications great prices and service, I'm a happy customer

just put a Explorer rear end in it and you wont need the rear flip kit.

i did 3" drop springs and the flip kit cost me $178 bucks then you gotta buy adjustable camber bushings to correct the camber ($20 a pce) I just cut my stock bump stops and kept the stock shocks for now.

keep browsing craigslist!! im most likely getting drop beams, spindles, calipers brakes springs, rear leaf springs, shackles and shocks for 250 bucks :D
