Cheapest alternator?

Oh and like everything on her vehicle it was a torx -_- a T-40 or something.

I feel your pain... my other car is a BMW .. and well, other than very basic things, like the brakes or whatever, I just pay to have work done to it. It saves me from many headaches, looking like a crazy person yelling and cursing in my driveway and bloody knuckles.

Everything on that car is pretty much a Torx bit... bought a set just to get the engine cover off and do other basic stuff.

Love the car, but you "gotta pay to play"...

... even though my ranger still gave me bloody knuckles when I did the alternator as I slammed my hand against the radiator brackets when my socket slipped. ... also didn't help I dropped my adjustable wrench down into the radiator fan housing and had to run to lowes to buy a magnet extender-thingy to fish it out :icon_rofl:

When I was stripping my parts truck I found a nice set of vice grips someone lost. Under the passenger side headlight there was a nice shelf on the radiator support. :yahoo:
