changing gauge colour

how do i change the colour of all the lights in my gauges heater controlls etc from green to blue

Just change the bulbs on the dash. Look into build thread, i did that to my truck.

I did that on my truck as well. I swapped out the bulbs from the regular lights to LED lights. They sell them at superbrightleds.com

its not as easy as just swapping the bulbs. The heater controls isn't bad because they have a green plastic insert behind the face that you take out but the knobs have a green surface beneath the white that makes it green at night so you see where it is pointing to. I pulled that plastic insert out of my knobs and sanded them down so they are clear. And on the gauge cluster the actual gauge faces have a green coating on the back of them that I scraped off in addition to changing the bulbs to leds. If you want the switch changed for the fog lights you will have to buy a 3mm led and solder it in place of the green one (once you take the switch completely apart) and buy one that twists in to replace the bigger one in the switch.

You should have 194 bulbs in your truck but I think them may have changed the HVAC bulbs to something smaller... You can always look it up at the website.

i bought 4 led's from the website listed above.. 2 in natural white and 2 in blue.. gonna just stick them in and see what i like more. then find out how many i really need. i just don't know when i'll have time b/c right now my issue is truck not running right... not dash lights..

IIRC the gen 1 has a plastic colored bubble that snaps in the bulb recess. I have some green and blue ones that I have salvaged. I think I took mine out and left the clear bulbs to light the gauges better.
