changing front diff fluid in 04 Ranger?

Stupid question but does anyone know where the drain/fill plugs are located on the front diff? I can't seem to find them and the manual says nothing about changing the front diff fluid.

the fill plug is located on the drivers side of the front axle housing (right below the torsion bar in the first pic), but as far as a drain plug goes there isnt one. on our sport trac i ended up drilling and tapping a hole in the bottom so i could easily drain and refill it when necessary, but i had to buy 2 taps inorder to thread the hole all the way because of the interference of the ring gear.

Thanks for the info. Why that isn't in the manual I have no idea.

either drop the axle to take the cover off or get a pump & suck out as much as possible.
