Changing Differential Fluid?

Fords come factory with a vent hose already on it. It doesn't go quite as high as up to the taillight, however that's just a matter of pulling off the stock hose, and shoving a new longer one over the fitting.
Good to know. Thanks!

This might be obvious tomorrow when I crawl under my truck to change the fluid, but...

Why not use a siphon for the rear differential also, eliminating the need to take the cover off?

Also, is there some measurement for how much fluid to put in?

You'll get more fluid out but popping the cover and it gives you a chance to inspect everything...

Plus good luck getting a siphon hose in there through the fill plug, its very close to the ring gear and the tone ring for the abs.
