I'm going to be swapping out the 2150 carb for a Ford CFI from a 3.8 (with lots of help from: http://www.therangerstation.com/tech_library/2_8_FuelInjection.shtml). Just recently pulled everything from a Mercury Cougar.

I've noticed that the EEC-IV has two inputs for the heated O2 sensors (one in each manifold), but if I recall the 2.8 only has one O2 sensor.

Is there a way to connect both O2 sensor inputs to a single O2 sensor? Or do I need to take off the other manifold and tap a hole into it? Has anyone else ran into this issue?

You could tie both inputs into a single wire that goes to the one sensor. I'm not sure why a CFI engine would need more than one sensor anyway, it's not like the fuel mix for each side can be adjusted individually anyway.
