My truck has huge vibration and noise when you take off from a dead stop until you get up to about 15mph, but it is not as bad if you take off slowly. I was told that I need a 1-piece driveline to fix the extreme angle caused by the 8" lift. I think the carrier bearing might be shot, there shouldn't be much play in it, right? If I replace that would that help the problem until I can get a new driveline or would it be a waste of time? Where would i go to get a new driveline? The local 4x4 shop?

you need 1-peace drive line out of a 98 + super cab ranger, look in the tech- libary or you can drop the cross member that holds the caryer bearing 7/8 of an inch or so for a temp fix, im goin with the 98 and up shaft. good luck buddie.

cool, thanks. i will start looking around. i thought i was going to have to go and have one made

ya look in the tech section its in the middle of the page or so. they go more in depth then what i did for you.

I just install a one piece drive shaft in my truck. 4 " lift. Took all the viberations out.
