I have an 85 ford ranger and I have been having trouble with the carburetor flooding. I want to avoid the egr issues and go with an older 2 barrel carb along with distributer. Any suggestions please? Thank you.

With this conversion, would I be able to keep my carb?

hmmm not sure, I think some people have kept the stock feedback carb for a while after the conversion, but probably is best to replace it with the 1.08 venturis 2100/2150. My 84 has been durasparked by PO, with 2100 motorcraft carb, so im not sure if the stock one will work, never seen it

Step one: Remove hood.

Step two: Get 2 wood.

Step three: Position self on top of fenders.

Step four: Yell "FORE" and hit that carb as hard as you can with the golf club.

Step five: Duraspark it.

Where can i go about finding a 1.08 venturis 2100??
