A guy about an hour south of me is parting out a 96 f150, almost identical to mine except for the color. He's asking 100 apiece for the captains seats. Now I'm trying to decide whether to buy them or not. I'm tempted to do it for the comfort, and so I can put in a center console. What are the pros and cons of switching them out?

bench... the #1 reason? 'cause your girl can slide right by you on country roads and her thigh is inches away from resting your hand on the gear shift... yah, girls are great reason for bench seat, has never failed me... and just use an old baseball cap for a center console replacement

Cons, no BJ's while driving anymore. Its a b*tch for her to get over the console.

No middle seatbelt, nothing like having your BJ queen stuck inthe windshield.

If you are married get the captian's chairs. It gives you a few more inches to spare and move away if the wife decides that particular moment in time is a good time to try and stab you with her nail file in the leg for no reason what so ever.Only because when she got up in the morning, she decided to roll out of bed and jump on her menstrual cycle.

Like he said above, get the bench while you are dating when you progress and decide to marry then its time to mod the truck, cut the bench and add the center console.

i cut my bench seat down and put in a center console and i still get road head hmm.......
