cant afford a lift kit

well i can but it would cost more than i paid for the truck it seems. is there a different route to go for a 3 or 4in lift on a 2000 extracab 4x4? 1500 just seems a little high. what would my shopping list look like to lift the front?

Body lift.. That's what I did to be able to clear bigger, meatier tires on my old Explorer. It makes it look tougher, but not really practical for off-roading.

Fender trim. Just cut shit out of the way till your tires fit.

It's an IFS, needs more parts to lift it. Also only one company makes a lift kit. (ya I know there's two but if he thinks $1500 is high then there's no point in mentioning Dixon Bros)

The same as the whole Superlift kit minus the rear blocks.

Crank your torsion bars, get a body lift, and get add-a-leafs or bigger blocks in the back... You can get 3" of body and 2" out of the torsion bars...

But none of that gives you better down travel on your suspension...
The other option is to sell that IFS truck and buy an older TTB one.
