Can you stab motor/trans/transfercase in one time?

Since I already have the transmission and transfer case out I'm gonna pull the motor and fix a few things. Is it possible, if I bolt all three back together that I can stick it all in at once?

If it were a 2WD, I would have said yes with no question. With a transfer case, the question becomes will it fit through the engine bay? I do not have an answer to that. The width is, I think, what would make it difficult, but you might be able to twist a bit depending on your chain having a swivel, or you could get a 'leveler' that has a crank and screw to move the COG back and forth to tilt, which also have a swivel built in.
I think adding the transfer case after might be an alternative that would allow stabbing the transmission / clutch first out in the open w/o having a transmission laying on your chest.

I asked the same question. without the T-case the engine and trans should come out ok.

I'd try it without a transfer case, But no way would all three fit without a major headache in my opinion..
