Full ad shows details that when taken together my help someone to better understand the condition of this vehicle besides just the engine, and help determine what may have happened? Ad is much clearer on my phone. Did you have an opinion on the engine condition,?

Doesn't look horrible. But, with questions about the drivetrain, it all boils down to how much ambition you have. If you don't mind the fact that it may need a whole engine swap, go for it. The price doesn't seem awful. But I'd rather get it for $800-$1,000 with the cap on the bed. I don't think the cap is worth the $500 price difference he expects.

I stick with my suggestion I made in my post 7 of this thread.
However I will amend that suggestion with definitely haggle over the price you should get it for a lot less of the asking price in my opinion.
However I don't know what the asking price is, I'm just taking that advice from @SenorNoob 's post #13 of this thread.

I'm now even more sure that the line going from side to side in the far back piston sleeve seen in the picture IS a groove.
I'm also even more sure that the lines going up and down in the 3rd piston sleeve is just some grease or grime or what are you want to call it that blood down when the person was cleaning the motor.

But then again what do I know.

If it wasn't to bad chassis wise... and i needed another project... and a donor vehicle with a V8... I'd give it a go for about $800.

I would think that cap would get ya the $500 he thinks it's worth if it's not busted up. Ya just don't see them every day.

Decided to pass on this one. I think this engine experienced severe overheating and/or pre detination. Don't feel like doing a project like this. Thanks
