Cam Inspection

I'm not sure where the cover or place where the cam syncronizer is located because I heard it is a good thing to check this every once in a while on the 3.0's. Could somebody please explain where this is so I can inspect it?

To the rear of the head on the passenger side. It's kinda down there, so you'll have to lean way over and probably push some wiring harness out of the way.
