I installed

MOOG K80065 Alignment Caster / Camber Kit

And the shop go the alignment close, but I'm not happy. The left is -1degree and the right +1 degree. Guy said it was within specs but idk.

So, one: is that range ok (toe and caster are both good, though I had to touch up the toe)?

Two, looking at the washer, rotating the adjustment slot (the 3/8 square) inward moves the control arm in or out? I installed them straight up and down before taking them in for alignment.

it isn't quite that simple. adjusting just 1 bolt affects both the caster and camber.
you really have to adjust both bolts simultaneously while monitoring how the top of the knuckle moves.
the cam plates don't move in & out, they rotate between the bracket which pushes the bolt in or out.
so what looks like the cam going to the rear is actually pushing the bolt outward.
