Eh, if you've ever played SOCOM 1 through SOCOM Combined Assault on the PS2 then it's not as good. It's a DECENT game, but for us SOCOM folks who have played for years it's nothing like what it used to be.

Yep. They promised it in like June IIRC? We still haven't got it. I mainly play it with all my buddys, we have a good laugh. I think Zipper should have made it, would have been a lot better. They screwed up letting a company that noone's ever heard of making this game. The only reason it sold so well is because everyone thought it was the legendary SOCOM from the PS2. Did you play the older SOCOMS too? I'm ready for MAG to come out, Zippers making that.

i only played SOCOM 2, but not as much as other shooters. I"m more of a FPS person than TPS. i was very excited for SOCOM, but they lost me after a month or so of laggy soundless games. the DLC/patch was supposed to be june, but i hear sept now IIRC

i've got my prestige edition MW2 pre-order in already with a couple days off of work for it
