Call message

I was driving along in my 2000 Ranger and all of a sudden the radio and clock stop working and the display keeps flashing CALL. Does anyone know what would cause this? I haven't been able to find anyone who knows.

Uh......

I've never see that one before. Probably gonna need a real scanner and/or a new head unit.
