Call me crazy but this mite work...

it is basicly just for looks i cant lie, because i dont care what size engine you put in it or what your do to the drive line a 2WD will never ever be a 4Wd. i am actually postponing this project because i just got a 91 4.0 4x4 ext cab that will be getting a true SAS! but i still think SASing a 2wd would be bada$$! :icon_thumby:

Sure......tell that to the guys who swap in a 4x4 transmission. transfercase, and an axle into their trucks.

Whatever floats your boat.

If you do an sas'd 2x4 you at least need to lock the rear, because trust me, you will be driving down the road and think Im lifted I wanna hit that........yeah. Lockers.

The advantage I can see is that its easier to lift the straight axle than ifs. I don't see how swapping the 4x4 stuff in doesn't make it a true 4x4?

if u swapped all the 4x4 stuff in it would problem is he just wanted to swap the front end in i think. no transfercase no 4wd.

so your gonna lose ground cleareance w/ the jeep axle, still be 2wd,& look goofy to boot.
itll look good from the side until u get around to the front to realize there is no diff.

id just go w/ a spindle lift=stock ride, massive ground clearence
