California Black Cars


I would think it has more to do with window surface area than your darker color paint.

That's what I thought too. Sort of like using a magnifying glass to burn an ant. I read the same article on thetruthaboutcars.com Just another reason I'm contemplating forfeiting my California residency.
 
Never been there, but I thought at least some parts would get some winterish weather.

Oh it does. That guy's just confused because he's from Vegas, where the temp really only does differ 10 degrees the whole year. In my area we go from the 20's to the 80's every year. In other higher altitude areas (like the Sierras) it can vary 70-90 degrees between summer and winter months.
