cabin air filter???

Try zorbex I think they have it at Home Depot or take it to get detailed.

Stinky

I had access to a "ozone generator" when I worked for a BMW dealer. You put the unit in the car and with the A/C fan set on low and with the climate control system set on re-circluation (and all the windows up) you'll have a odor free car in one hour.

I used it on a van I bought that transported kids for 10 years, stunk of old french fries, gym cloths and spilled milk shakes, took 2 hours but all the stink was gone. :icon_cheers:

The problem with this approach is that you're not actually removing the odor, but masking it...same as febreeze...best way to remove the odor is to wash the items (carpet and seats especially) and vacuum clean...or use a steam cleaner with a good soap solution...

I rented one to do the carpet because it stunk like cat and dog poop & pee...did a great job but didn't get it all...those are stinky critters...

I have to second the ozonater. You can rent them for cheap at rental places. Leave one going in there overnight after a thorough cleaning, it should do the job!

Or even easier, you could just start smoking.

If you can get your hands on an ozone generator, leave it inside the cab ever night for a few years and the smell might fade.

Smartass! lol

Useful thread. Never seen an Ozonator...never even heard of one when even when I worked at a Houston auto auction...

Frabreeze masks odors. Had a stinky roommate that used it religious on our furniture. It doesn't work long term.

+1 on all the interior detailing w/ soap, interior conditioner after, and pressure washing the carpet.
