C-6 question?

does anyone know if you can install a ranger 5-speed speed sensor into a c-6 or if there is a speed sensor you can put in a c-6 that will work with the factory 1996 2wd ranger speed sensor wireing? any help would be greatly appriciated

Yes the speed sensor will fit both trannies. I'm not sure if the gear will be the right one for the gear in the c6 though. It will plug in and work though.

'96 didn't have a speed sensor in the trans though. It should read from the rear end.

Mutant Pony is correct , actually i believe from like 92 up reads off of rearend.

mine is a 96 and it has a speed sensor in the tranny.
