Been a bit occupied the last month and a half. Had a friend drive my ATV off a cliff a month ago, he broke a bunch of stuff, but should heal fine. He's kinda lucky to be alive. Thats where most of my free time has gone. Still haven't gotten it out, and tuition is due in a week, so progress on this might be a bit slow for another month or so. Ill post some pics of the crash because everyone loves carnage pics!
It rolled down about 800 feet, on a 70*+ incline. Its going to be a really big job to get it out, as its only accessible by vehicle on the road above, and anything bigger then a 160" wheel base won't make it up there. My Boss's ex cab long bed Dodge struggled. If the axles weren't all broken, and the brush wasn't so thick, it would probably be a piece of cake to winch out.
Anyways, with school starting, I need to keep it reliable as a DD. I have some little things to fix on it, but nothing major. Soon to come on the truck is finishing the bumper with a hitch receiver and shackle mounts. My brother has access to better and bigger welders at school, so Ill have him weld them on there,

then I think I'll send it off to get professionally bed lined. Had a floor jack in the back the other day, and it chipped my bedliner up pretty bad in a few places. So far haven't been impressed with the Druabak-18 I used. Even with following the directions perfectly, using heavy grit sand paper, and wiping it down until its clean with xylene, it peels off really easy once you have a edge. We will see how it holds up, if it gets really bad, I will pull it all off and have it done by rhinoliner.
If everything goes the way it should in the next 6 months, I should be able to get started on the 4x4 swap next spring. Going to start gathering parts as I get the money. First to find is a Dana 30 from a XJ non-CAD to build off of that. Then I need a 4x4 tranny parts, transfer case, drive shafts etc.
