JUSt bought a 1990 Bronco II.

Anyone have an idea (1) how to find out the day/month build date for a 1990 Bronco II? (2) VIN No's shows, by code: USA, Ford, Multipurpose vehicle, 4001-5000 lbs., Bronco II, 4x4 standard Bronco II, 2.9 - 6 cyl.,1990, Louisville, KY., last 5 digits are 93834 (3) Where / what is this infamous "spout" that need to be opened/disconnected when you set the timing? ( I looked at a number of the answers to see if it was there, but didn't find it, so my apologies if this is a repeat ask...)

Took it for a test drive today and it runs great, and everything works....

there was a thread on here a while back that had instructions on how to get your vehivle build sheet that has the date, month and year as well as anything else you would probably want to know. i just did a quick search but it didnt turn up any results
The spout connector is a gray or black plug that looks like it is just blocking off the end of a pig tail. your manual should give you an idea of where to look for it, mine was on the driverside up behind the headlight. you have to un plug the connector, start the truck, set your timing, then plug the connnector back in, this will set youyr base timing.

The Build sheet is usually on the underside of the carpet in the passenger side footwell.

Or if your truck is like mine and has a fairly interesting history which has caused the build sheet to part company with the truck, you can email Ford your VIN and they will mail you a build sheet for your truck according to their records.
