Bronco II doubler build pics


dumb ? i new 2 this stuff what is the reason for doing this?
 
You know how you put your transfer case in 4low? Well this makes it 4low on top of 4low. Awesome crawl ratio.
 
For mud, no not needed.
 
For a mud rig, this would be a waste of time, since you normally want some wheel speed. With my doubler engaged and the tranny in overdrive, I can barely hit 15mph! However, if you have a rock rig, control and crawl ratio is where its at. For a rock rig, hands down the best mod!

in this image wich shaft's I have to cut and put together?, maybe for you it's super easy, and logical but maybe too I dont understudd what I have to modify, and this kind of job it's really delicated, so I want to be really sure of what I'm doing. this is for a new proyect that Im thinking to do, but I already have an BRONCO II with dana 44, ford 9 302, np435 dana 20, arb rear. etc.

I imagine that are the numbers 58 and 81 that I have to cut and weld:icon_welder: together, but I'm not so sure, maybe if you can showme a pic of the 4x4 output shaft when is not already cutted, i would be very helpful to. maybe the image it´s to small but it took it from this page: https://www.google.com.mx/search?q=...0-transfer-case-electrical-shift.aspx;575;684

If you have a Dana 20 like you say, then you're looking at the wrong diagram (sounds like your truck is very far removed from it's original configuration).

I believe the 1st-gen Ford Bronco ('66-'77) used a NP435 & Dana20 combo, so you would probably want to look at that application for yours since that is probably where yours may have come from. There are also replacement gear kits available for a D20 that will give you a deeper gear ratio.
