Bronco II complete drivetrain swap

ideally what transfercase(s) should i be looking for? im thinking about just buying everything seperate instead of messing with more stock parts..

If you can find an explorer with a good A4LD, use that. They are stronger than your 2.9 A4LD, but they still bring the suck. That or ponying up about 2 grand for adapters to run a GM 700R4 trans are your overdrive auto 4.0L options.

a4lds are fine/ xplodas get bad rep cause the ones you buy are beet to piss and they didnt tell you they didnt maintain it lol

i used a 93 explor. and ever thing is working fine. upgraded my a4ld to.

if i was to buy a early 90's explorer could i swap over all the driveline parts without a problem and will everything be a direct bolt in?? id really like to swap over the d35 and the 8.8. and would the transfer case bolt to my 5 spd??
