a whats up.... i have an idea an i have been looking and havent found anything... now its just an idea but has any one ever herd of anyone putting a bronco II body on an explorer AWD frame not the 4wd the awd frame its just an idea i dont kno if it would work

so nobody ever herd of this

its not a bolt on.

frames are different.

awd frame and 4x4 frame are the same though for sploders...

it gets done....sploders turned pickup etc.

the frame will need shortening, and the frame rails at the back are wider than a bii's

an ex fuel tank will likely not fit afterwords, and since the ex frame has a different profile your body mounts will need to be custom (like mine were)

but if you really want a t-bar, awd broncoii that seems like a valid approach to accomplishing that

i agree. accommodating the fuel system may not be simple, but worth it if you get a setup with the smaller tank.

i would stretch/move the wells in combination if necessary with axle relocation to fit the sploder wb. the wb and tw of the sploder is better then the b2.

it would look freakish but work great.

I thought about this briefly not long ago. I thought it would be a different/better way to stretch the wheel base of a b-II... don't have to worry about on road manners, ackerman,or swapping out the d-28/7.5,2.8/9 for d-35/8.8/4.0 You also would have to look at moving the drive train back and fabbing mounts if you center the body on the frame. I wanted to try it but other things have got in the way. If you do something, please record all of it as I would be interested in how you overcome the problems you'll come across.
