I'm lucky enough to have my own equipment to tow my own vehicles home if needed, but I understand the pain with a tow bill. I have liability insurance on my B2, but I had them add towing/roadside assistance which added about $3 a month to my insurance. Given the cost of a wrecker bill, the extra $3 a month is much easier to handle. I just added the towing because if I'm away from home out of town there's no way I could get back home to get my car trailer, at least with the towing coverage I'd be able to get towed back into the nearest town and be able to call my family to get them headed my way with my trailer.
I'm just glad I got the new tires on, that was my biggest worry was well, ok I made it to work and home today, but when is the next tire gonna blow out. I'm just not driving it because I don't want to tear up the new tires because the alignment is screwed up. I looked at it today and my looking at the front the driver's side tire is turned to the left a little, but the passenger tire is pointed straight forward. Definitely needs aligned LOL.
