broken rca but still works?

k so i have a little *8in powered sub. didnt get it mounted in time and the... left side on the rca plug popped off. so basically i only have one input for my rca cable. but it seems to be working perfect. is this normal? safe? lol....

It's safe, don't worry about that. You're just only getting sound from one channel (mono.)

Where did it come off of? The sub box?

You could just but a new rca cable for about $2.00.

$2.00? bit more pricey that that. for quality ones. yea it came off the sub box. i already have a plan in mind. just gonna take my deck out and tape one end of my old rca to my new one and pull it through. tada just like new.
