Was wondering how the straps are removed? Are they hinged?

I believe one side is hinged by the strap going into the frame and the other side is bolted down.

the straps are bolted to cross members near the drive shaft side an on the opposite side is a triangular hole where the straps have a T an sorta hook into them.. my straps broke last week an insted of spending 30 on new ones i spent 10 on some 2inch flat bar 1/8 an made my own.. only difference i bolted mine on the frame side so they would come off easier if i ever had to take them off.
