Ok so i was driving around town today and i started hearing this clunking noise like if something was banging around. So i hopped under my pass side and checked out the hub area. And seen that my u-joint is snapped in pieces. Is that the easy side to change? I know it would be easier upgrading to the D35 But i need to get it back on the road so i can drive back and forth to work.

Please Help!

If it's the outer u-joint, it is easy to fix. The inner one is another matter because you have to remove the 3rd member.

Were you driving around town in 4 wheel drive?

Problem figured out. My electronic 4x4 is ****ed and it has my transfer case engaged but i have my manual hubs set to free. i just removed the drive shaft for now. i just broke the outer U-joint
