Ok, yesterday I drove to work and it was fine. nothing out of the ordinary. when I went to leave work I went to start it and I let off the key too soon before it caught. it kind of stumbled and sputtered a bit and then stalled out. I then restarted it, it cranked for a bit to get it going (like 5 seconds) then it fired up. When I went to take off I put the pedal down a bit, it was fine then I pressed it more (over half way) and it was sputtering and breaking up real bad?

I have done that before where I accidently let off the key too soon and it'll sputter out like that. but then it'll restart al ittle hard but then is fine.

what do you guys think? Throttle positon sensor? fuel filter? stress?

For reliable starts, turn the key to Run, wait 3 sec for the fuel pump to "prime", then turn key Off.
Repeat, then crank the starter.

Make that a habit.
If it fixes it, your fuel pump checkvalve may be leaking.
If the fuel filter is old, replacing it may help.

I agree sounds fuel related. change the fuel filter and drop a bottle of techron in the tank........if that does not take care of it...........then do some fuel pressure tests....oh and clean the MAF and make sure the air filter is clean and the air intake tube is clear.........everything I just listed is maintenance anyways

Clean air filter, clear intake tube

New fuel filter, New coil packs

I do smell gas so I know it's getting fuel. Seemed like it isnt burning it.

How Do i go about cleaning the MAF??

I shot some Carb cleaner into the intake tube on the MAF and it helped. Now a day later it's doing it again. Do it need to replace it or just clean it better?

I am not sure why. maybe i am getting grumpy as i get older, maybe I am just tired of helping people. I am not sure why.......but I only help people that have created a detailed signature of their vehicle..

Huge oversight on my part, Thanks for being a grumpy ass and setting me straight!

Don't know why, I thought I did create one before. I too hate that. On the Foureyedpride mustang sight I see it all the time. It wastes a ton of time when you have to ask too!

So when I spray the MAF it runs great until I shut it off an let it sit for a bit. Does this mean the MAF is shot? Should I find a replacement?

Oh, Also ruled out bad gas, Ran it pretty much dry and filled back up with 91
