I am having trouble with my 1994 ford ranger 4cyl. 5 speed starting from time to time. Today I went out and bought a new starter and installed now all that I get when I turn it over it just clicks loudly . I have cleaned the battery connections and cables. However I have no juice down at the starter.

check the cables down at the starter. wiggle em if ya need to, your problems lies down there.
Actually the problem lied with the battery, Mine was a little old and I guess it didn't have enough juice to turn the new starter, but enough to turn lights on.
