I've looked at most of the oter brake problems on this forum and everone's brakes seem to do it when they are in damp/wet conditions, then after the brakes dry the problem goes away. My brakes do it all day long in dry conditions, i have to be easy with the brakes, the brakes lock and skid the tires really easy.

You need to pull your rear drums off and check the condition of the shoes, aswell as to see if you have leaking wheel cylinders or even an axle seal leaking. The oil will contaminate the shoes and cause brakes that are very grabby.

i looked at the shoes and they look fine and there were no signs of leaks, i even had the guy at the auto shop that mounted and balanced my new tires
(31" baja claws) look at them and he said everything was good. everysince i changed the tires they havent locked up even when having to make quick stops.

I have a 95 Ranger 4x4 that has never stuck, but I bought a used 2006 4x4 a few weeks ago and it has rained a lot the past few days and this morning it's stuck and won't move! Any suggestions for a fix to move it? It's stuck in the driveway and blocking in my wifes car.
