Brake light switch & Parking Break Release Switch

Are these two items the same thing?

According to previous posts on here and in my Chiltons manual, it is called a Brake Light switch, however...

According to Napa, Autozone, Checker etc... all they have is a Parking break release switch. From the installation instructions that come with the part it appears to be the same thing.

The price is about $17.00 or so...

the switches themselves might be physicaly identical (i dont know), but if this is the case, there are two of them...one on the brake pedal for the brake lights (usually called a stoplight switch), and one on the e-brake pedal for the light on the dash.
