hi guys i have a 90 ranger 4x4 2.9 auto i replaced the front and rear brakes i mean everything all new rubber lines wheel cylinders calipers and i just can seem to get a hard pedal i replaced the master cylinder2times the first one was a rebuilt one still no hard pedal so i bought a brand new one bench bleed it and bleed the crap out of no air in the lines but still have no hard pedal now what it dose when steping on the brake the pedal slowly drops to the floor anybody have any thoughts to whats going on here am i missing something here i have changed everything but the boster any help please.
 
Did you check the amount the power booster rod extends past the front face of the case? This rod is adjustable at the tip (I think the spec. is .950" if memory serves). Also, if the back of the booster rod slipped out of position when the master was replaced ( which is known to happen) it would cause problems.
