Hello all. My vehicle is a 92 Ranger super cab 4x4 5.0L.

I'm completely replacing the brake lines. I know for the most part the brake line fittings are 3/8ths, and I know from measurements that the fittings to the proportioning valve is an M12x1.0.

Where in blazes can a guy get some of these metric fittings? I've been all over the web looking for these but I must be blind or I totally mis-measured those fittings.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! - j

Can you please confirm, do you mean the RABS hydraulic unit on the left frame rail. I also need to get new connectors for this . Are they both the same 12-1.0 connector, from Master cylinder incoming line and outgoing line to rear brakes.

Are they Bubble flare like on the master cylinder or Inverted Flare ?

Plews-edelmann or AGS might have these connectors. I still have to search for their catalogs. You might want to check my post here. I have an Edelmann P/N for the fittings you will need for the wheel cylinders. They are not standard 3/8ths from what I found on my truck. I found P/N 265000, an adapter for the Master cylinder rear brake line that allows you to use standard inverted flare 3/8-24 threaded connector to the 12-1.0 bubble flare. About $6.00 but worth the convenience. Got them from local auto parts store.

Fittings P/N

You may want to check this out from your independent local parts store or
from the big ones like NAPA and Advance

3/16 tube with 12-1.0 metric fitting, bubble flare

Edelmann p/n: 276012.
AGS p/n: BLF48

3/16 tube 3/8-24 std inverted flare into 12-1.0 male bubble flare adapter

Edelmann p/n: 265000
AGS p/n: BLF33

Please let me know how you make out with this part numbers if they fit
correctly.

Whenever we do brake lines in the shop we get all our fittings from Napa. At our store they are all behind the counter so you have to ask for them but they can usually find the ones we need. Bring your old fittings with you so they can be matched up to be sure you have the right ones.
