Does anyone know where I can find braided brake hoses for a 96 that arent a mile long. All I can find is ones that are for lift kits. I went down instead of up. Thanks!!

crownperformance.com any lenth you want.can be DOT approved too.

lines

I was guna install braided lines on my 88 Ranger but one day last year I had a rear wheel cylinder leak and after replacing both rear cylinders and shoes I decided to replace the three rubber brake lines with OEM parts since the original rubber lines lasted twenty years with no problems.
My brakes have always worked great even with 33" Baja Claws.

The rubber lines will expand with increased fluid pressure; ie: breaking. The stainless steel braided lines don't expand, thus breaking performance is increased.

You should be able to take an old line to a brake shop and they can make them.

Make sure whatever line you get is a DOT Approved line.

Actually the braded ones do expand, but they expans less giving a firmer pedal feel.

i bought the procomp ones from summit racing. they are for lifted trucks but worked just fine in my stock height truck. they are just repackaged earls brand lines. worked great. i can't say they improved pedal feel at all, but they are better than the stock cracked rusty ones i took off.
