So did you pretend it was a baja beetle?
The last time my rental got messed up, I wound up with a brand new Hemi 300C. Really ghetto looking, but it ran like a bat out of hell. And it introduced me to 2 things that I never thought I needed... heated/cooled cup holders and a heated steering wheel. Those were AWESOME!!!
Nice score on the gears.
It's amazing that $71000 looks like that and wear's a bowtie.... Did you get a chance to offroad test that one?
I love when they have to rent stuff like that at the price of a Focus...
There are a ton of dirt/gravel roads in New Hampshire which is where I spent all of October. I took the Burban on a 30 mile dirt road trip. I am on a few adventure rider forums and found a guy that made a huge loop through Vermont and NH without hitting pavement. I did one of those segments. This pic was taken on that trip. Took me longer to figure out how to turn off all of the safety features. The seat vibrates your butt cheek when you wonder out of your lane (it even vibrates to the side of danger) and if there is someone in your blind spot.
So I have owned this for a year. Have only removed the engine/trans/case and collected Ford parts. Not cool.
In October, I found out my second child will be here in June. Very exciting (this one was actually planned). However, that means I need to build a wheeler before that. This project is too large for that. So I have been throwing around the idea of selling it. Not really sure. I would like to go back to my original plan, a 5.0 Explorer. Time will tell. I have a few details I need to work out.
Also, Facebook does NOT know about my wife. Please keep it that way.
