Bought another Ranger this afternoon. It is a one owner 1995 4x4 standard shift with a 2.3 motor. I talked my wife into buying a simple truck for our property up in Mississippi. It will stay up there in the garage. I paid $2800 for it. It has a 3 inch bl and 31 inch tires. It has 4:10 gears in it. It is a one owner ride and it is in very good shape. It has 62,000 miles on it. The body is very clean and it has been garage kept since new and the owner is 65 years old and he is a non smoker. He used it to take out his 12 ft fishing boat a few times a week and he wanted me to buy the boat before his brother gets it. I might go back there Sunday to check over the boat.
He just had a high pressure switch installed and had the a/c recharged. He told me he only used the a/c once in awhile since he bought the truck new in '96. I have the receipts and service history for the truck since it was new.
It was recently serviced with fluid changes (radiator flush, trany serviced etc), and both axles were serviced in November. It shifts great and no noises from the clutch and pedal area. The suspension is nice and tight with no squeaks and it dives straight with no pulling under heavy breaking, so the alignment is perfect.
I have a buddy with a flatbed who is going to Alabama to work next week and he will take the truck up there for me on the flatbed. That is a really good friend!!! He has family up there about 30 min. across the state line from my place in Mississippi. He has to go up there to work for the rest of December. I will get the title and tag taken care of next week.

looks and sounds like a great truck!!!

any plans for it? or just going to keep it the way it is....?

its nice that it came with a 3 inch BL and 31's, that's exactly what my plans are for my truck are.

That's nice too. Since it's just a yard truck you can throw it in low and just drive it like that around the yard.

Don't gotta worry about the e-shift crapping out.

loose the wheels, but otherwise, sweet truck stray!

not a fan of the beige interior, but overall it's a nice find

nice!

a 12' boat shouldn't weigh more than 1000lb tops, not a big deal for anything, 4x2 low (manual hubs) makes boat ramps a piece of cake...

Thanks, guys. I am not doing anything to it. I DO hate the wheels...lol, ugly, and fugly, but I m not swapping them out since there is nothing wrong with them. The truck will be used to run around to town to buy stuff and then I will need it on the property and haul fire wood and hay and supplies. I will only need 4wd once in awhile so I don't have to worry about the e-shift. We have 70 acres up in Mississippi and I will need the 4wd especially when it snows at times and then gets a bit muddy. It will be kept in the garage up there and I think it will last for many yeas to come.

good score! 'zactly what I was looking for when I started looking for a little 4x4 pickumtruck :D

That's a great truck. It's a wonderful truck at that price.
